Cheerleading is a combination of Gymnastics, Dance and Acrobatics.

Cheerleading is such an amazing sport to take part in as a child. Not only does it teach and represent the importance of teamwork, but it can help to build self-esteem, provide a sense of belonging, and increase strength, patience, and determination. At Obsidian Cheer and Dance, we are extremely passionate about this sport and would love to show more people just how amazing Cheerleading can be by showcasing its important qualities and values.

In sessions your child will learn how to safely perform skills and execute stunts in a super fun and friendly environment. No previous skill or experience is needed to take part in these classes, and all abilities are welcome. Classes are suitable for children aged 3 years +

Our recreational classes also have the opportunity to perform at various Obsidian events including our Winter Spectacular in house competition (December) and our annual showcase: Interstellar (July).
